It’s important for both rider and the horse to work on making sure that the basic exercises are well established.

A sound basis is key to further development and maintaining pleasure in horse riding.

In my instruction, I like to go back to the fundamental basics and to learning how to ride with feeling for the horse.

Communication between rider and horse, gymnastisizing and straighthening are key points during my lessons.

Horses are recipient to many signals while being ridden. Leg aids, manual aids, the rider’s seat and breathing, or even a fly are all things the horse is very much aware of.

I often see that things go wrong because the horse does not know what to do with all the signals and that the rider is not always aware of what he or she is doing and asking of the horse.

Developing awareness is crucial to a good communication with your horse.

From the very basics to Grand Prix level, every motivated rider is welcome.

The Netherlands

Den Heyer Dressage is based in The Netherlands.

Every week there are instruction days and clinics you can participate in. Amber comes weekly in North-Holland , South-Holland , Utrecht to provide dressage instruction. It's also possible to come to your location or to organize a clinic.

Kuwait Dressage Academy

Amber den Heyer is the head trainer of The Kuwait Dressage Accademy and the technical manager of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation. Monthly she travels to Kuwait and other countries in the Gulf region to train her students.

Worldwide

If you are looking to upgrade your dressage riding skills you are at the right place. Amber is traveling monthly accross the world to guide her students worldwide (Europe, South Africa, Middle-East, USA and Canada).

Amber's passion is to guide and train people at every level, also jumping riders that want to upgrade their dressage skills are welcome. Educative programs

From June till August we offer educative training camps for dressage and showjumping riders in The Netherlands and Marbella Spain.

We team up with the best experts in our country to give you a full experience.

6 days a week training, theory lessons, educative programs to learn everything you need to know.

Lease horses will be availeble and also the chance to compete in The Netherlands on one of our horses.

Online training

Den Heyer Dressage even guides her students worldwide when she is not on location. After a clinic we understand that you want to continue with the training, thats why we offer online training programs for all our students.
